Simon has been involved in the primary sector for a number of years. Prior to joining Aotearoa Fisheries Limited, Simon was the CFO for AsureQuality Limited, and prior to that Simon had a number of financial positions with the American owned forest product company Rayonier.
As well as the time in NZ with Rayonier, Simon spent 5 and a half years working for Rayonier in the USA. Simon started his career with Ernst & Young, spending 10 years with them working in Auckland, Canada and the USA.
Simon is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Commerce (Honours) and Master of Business Administration all from The University of Auckland.
