Simon Jones - Chief Financial Officer
Simon has been involved in the primary sector for a many years. Before joining Aotearoa Fisheries, he was CFO for AsureQuality, where he participated in the merger of Asure and AgriQuality. Before that Simon had 11 years with NYSE listed Rayonier Inc. in a variety of senior financial positions both here and in the USA. In his last position with Rayonier he was responsible for the financial operations of the Pacific Northwest, Canada, Chile and Russia.
Simon started his career with Ernst & Young, spending 10 years with them in Auckland, Canada and the USA.
Simon has presented at a number of conferences in New Zealand and Australia. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Commerce (Honours) and Master of Business Administration degrees from The University of Auckland.
